About the Costume: After a friend wondered last year why there were suddenly so many Ms. Marvel cosplayers, I realized that I've never seen someone try and do Ms. Marvel with her Binary powers. Binary has looked like this in comics past, but she had her Binary powers while in her Warbird outfit (the lightning-bolt-outfit everyone is so familiar with) recently in the Ms. Marvel series. I know, it gets a little confusing. Since I had the Warbird outfit already made, and encouraged by the absolutely adorable Kotobuyaki figure, I went ahead and made the flames. Here is how I made the flames. The makeup is orange Mehron, lips are a blend of Mac, and the eyes are with Geek Chic Cosmetics.
About the Picture: The photographer, Rodney Brown, added a little more pizzaz to the flames in photoshop, but the majority I made myself. I was happy to get a good outdoor shot! Now if only I could get into outer space...
Ah, NOW I'm remembering. You very graciously stopped by my table at Granite State Comic Con and browsed a bit. Your costume was/is incredible. Thanks for dropping by!
I love the flames ^^ I wanted to make this version as well, but the flames gave me a hard time!
