About the Costume: Two yards cotton lycra for the bodysuit and piping, two yards white cotton sateen, the military belts, and the gun holsters are made with vinyl upholstery. The front of the bodice is double reinforced with steel boning, shaped specifically to me to allow for the 'defying gravity' look.
About the Picture: This image was taken for Dark Horse Comic's 'I Love Comics!' Contest, in which fans took a photo of themselves reading or representing how they loved Dark Horse Comics. I had made Ghost six months prior, and I felt my costuming well-represented how much I enjoyed the series. The idea for this picture gradually snowballed from having always loved the Adam Hughes cover art of the TPB I'm holding. We took a photo of me seated atop of the long boxes (yes, they are mine - four of the full fourteen I own), then took a photo of just the long boxes, I did a little transparency fade, and layered the images together.
