About the Costume: Two yards of metallic purple lycra, sheer black lycra for the front panel, and various scraps of matte black lycra. Wig cut and styled by me. Sword is made from insulation foam covered in polycarbonate sheeting, a wooden dowel, coil conduit, and silver ventilation-repair tape. Armor was made from Wonderflex and covered in metallic gold lycra.

About the Picture: When some people see this picture (or any other of me in this outfit) they assume I'm full of confidence or constantly seek attention. Not true! In every day life I'm a jeans and t-shirt girl, modest and pretty unassuming. Not half an hour before this picture was taken, I was questioning whether or not I could actually leave the hotel room and walk around dressed like this. But I love Ivy, and I tried to channel some of the character's confidence, and in the end I was glad I left the room!

This could be the best of your many fantastic Ivy shots. The costume is superb, your body shape is perfect, the sword is great and the pose is a character classic. Can't wait to see your Ivy from SC V!

Ever since i stumbled upon this fantastic cosplay and i consider it not only a rare case where the cosplay looks way better than the original character but also one of the best cosplays of all time ... damn beautiful, intricate and stunning.
